So tasty, so tender - the best for tea drinking! Invisible apple pie is so called because it does not have a clear structure - the apple slices are so thin that when cut they are invisible in the dough. This incredible pie is easy to prepare and eats instantly. Try it!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make an invisible apple pie? Let's start with the test. To prepare the pie dough, we need: flour

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. You need to beat so that, on the one hand, you do not overbeat the mass (it should be airy), and on the other, so that all the sugar dissolves.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sift the flour with baking powder and add to the dough. Beat with a mixer at low speed until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour milk, cognac and vegetable oil into the dough. Whisk again. You should get a fairly liquid mass, similar to pancake dough. Add a little more flour if necessary.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Let's prepare the filling. Prepare food: sweet and sour apples

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Chop the walnuts.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Wash the apples, dry them, remove the core. If the skin of the apples is hard and thick, it is better to cut it off. Cut the apples into thin slices. Try to cut it as thin as possible, this will make the pie tastier.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Gently fold the apples into the batter, being careful to keep the thin slices intact.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the apples in the dough into a greased baking dish (Ø 18-20 cm) and smooth out. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 30 minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Filling. To prepare the filling we will need: an egg, melted butter and sugar.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Melt the butter and cool to room temperature. Combine sugar with egg and melted butter.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Whisk everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Top the hot pie with the egg mixture.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Sprinkle with walnuts. Return the pie to the oven for another 15 minutes.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Cool the pie completely. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Bon appetit!

I wanted to bake an invisible apple pie that is so popular on the Internet. I found this recipe, studied it and started cooking. First of all, I made the dough, it turned out airy, but liquid. This is how it should be; a thick dough would be difficult to work with. I had two types of apples. I chopped the green stuff thinly and left the skin. And I peeled the red one and also cut it into slices. Then I realized that it’s better to cut the skin, it will turn out more tender. I didn’t put all the apples into the dough at once. She threw it in batches, while separating the plates from each other. Then I mixed and placed the apples in the mold. The process reminded me of cooking dumplings) I baked the pie for 30 minutes. During this time he became ruddy. Then poured the egg mixture and sprinkled with nuts. Bake for another 15 minutes. I put 30 g less sugar in the filling. The cake was moist, tender and very flavorful. The dough in it is similar to custard. The apples turned out in layers, I think it’s beautiful. The pie was too sweet for me, but just right for my husband and son. My daughter loves fluffy biscuits, so this pie didn’t suit her) But everyone definitely liked the filling and the baked nuts. They go great with apples. It was an interesting experience, I liked it) I recommend the recipe!

I really liked your recipe, I was just about to bake some kind of apple pie, I was thinking of finding something old in my CC, and here is such an interesting recipe. I’ll definitely bake it and put raisins in the apples, as you recommend. I used to add raisins to apple pies, it was very tasty. Thanks for the recipe)))

I finally made this apple pie, it turned out really tender and delicious. The roasted nuts gave this pie a special flavor. Maria, thank you very much for the recipe, I will make it again. Next time, on your advice, I will add raisins to the dough. I’ll cut the apples thinner, it will be tastier, otherwise my dough completely covered the apples. Here is my photo report)))
