STEP 1
How to cook frozen unpeeled shrimp in a saucepan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Properly boiled seafood has a rich taste and appetizing aroma. The smell and color are significantly affected by the amount of salt and spices with which the product is cooked. You can, of course, boil it without additives, but the taste will be rather bland.
STEP 2
Place a pan of water on the fire. The ratio of shrimp and water should be at least 1:2. While the water is boiling, rinse the shrimp under warm water to remove ice, excess dirt, broken antennae and legs.
STEP 3
Seafood does not absorb salt well, so you need to add more of it. The recommended amount of salt per 1 liter of water is 40-45 g. For peeled shrimp, the amount of salt should be halved.
STEP 4
Add sprigs of parsley and dill to boiling water; you can also use dried herbs, in which case the aroma will be a little different.
STEP 5
Add bay leaf.
STEP 6
Put other dry spices - allspice and black peppercorns, they will be very useful here. The set of spices is quite arbitrary, you can use the ones I suggested, or you can add, for example, cloves, garlic, onions, a special set of spices for seafood, or other spices to taste.
STEP 7
Place the prepared shrimp in the pan. Boil regular shrimp for 2-3 minutes after boiling, tiger shrimp for 5-7 minutes. For king prawns it will take 7-10 minutes.
STEP 8
To make it easier to peel the shrimp, rinse them under running cold water.
STEP 9
Before serving, sprinkle the shrimp with lemon juice. Bon appetit!
