Horns with stewed meat in a frying pan
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make horns with stew in a frying pan? Prepare your food. In addition to horns, pasta of any shape is suitable, the main criterion is its quality. Choose pasta made from durum wheat; they are tastier, healthier and don’t get overcooked. Any stew will also work. I took beef. You don’t have to add the tomato, but it will turn out much juicier. You can also add carrots.
STEP 2
Peel the onion, wash and dry. Cut the onion into small cubes. To avoid irritating the mucous membranes of your eyes when cutting onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a slice of lemon before slicing.
STEP 3
Wash the tomato and dry it. Cut it into cubes as well. You can first peel the tomato. How to easily peel tomatoes? Make cross cuts on top with a sharp knife. Place in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Then immediately transfer to cold water. Remove the tomato and remove the skin.
STEP 4
Place a saucepan of clean cold water over high heat. There should be a lot of it - for every 100 grams of pasta, 1 liter of water. As soon as the water boils, add salt and add the cones. Be sure to stir them so the pasta doesn't stick to the bottom. Cook the horns according to the time indicated on the package. The main thing is not to overcook the pasta, but leave it slightly firm, al dente.
STEP 5
While the pasta is cooking, fry the stew. To do this, heat a frying pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil. Place onions and tomatoes in it. Fry them for 3-4 minutes, stirring.
STEP 6
Then add the stew to the vegetables, after mashing it a little with a fork. You don't have to add the fat from the stew. Fry everything together for about 5 minutes. Taste the meat for salt and pepper and add more if desired.
STEP 7
Place the finished horns in a colander. Then throw them into the pan with the stew. Stir and heat everything together over low heat with a lid.
STEP 8
Serve the horns with the stew hot. Bon appetit!
