Step-by-step preparation
Cooking time: 1 hr 20 mins
STEP 1
Fillet the herring or take ready-made fillets. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, peel.
STEP 2
Cut the onion into half rings, pour in lemon juice and squeeze a little/leave to marinate for 5 minutes. Peel the apple, remove the core. Pour 2-3 tablespoons evenly over the stale loaf. water, leave to soak for a couple of minutes.
