  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make meatballs from ground beef? Prepare all the necessary products. Instead of breadcrumbs, I used stale bread, this is not critical.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pre-soak the crackers. I always do this in water, some people like it in milk, then it needs to be warmed up a little or diluted with warm water. After the crackers have swollen, you need to remove the crusts, without them it will be tastier and more beautiful, and squeeze out the excess water with your hands. If you take breadcrumbs, then simply fill them with a slightly larger volume of liquid, wait about five minutes, if not all of it is absorbed, then drain the rest.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the minced meat in a large bowl, add soaked bread or crackers, egg, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix the minced meat well. Wash the eggs first using a food-grade cleaner, as it may harbor harmful bacteria.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Make small meatballs from the resulting minced meat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat a frying pan on the stove, pour in the oil and let it heat up. Roll the meatballs in flour and place them in a frying pan to fry. Read how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying in the separate articles at the end of this recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Fry the meatballs on both sides briefly until golden brown over medium heat, then remove them from the pan.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Wash the bell pepper under running water, remove the stem and seeds, cut into strips.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

In the same frying pan where the meatballs were fried, add the pepper and fry for a few minutes.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour tomato sauce over the peppers and stir. If desired, at this stage you can add any spices to your taste.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Turn the meatballs into the pan and simmer them covered for 30-40 minutes. Taste the sauce for salt and add more salt if necessary. Serve ground beef meatballs in tomato sauce with any side dish or vegetable salad. The supper is ready! Bon appetit!

My child really loves pasta with meat balls. I liked the ground beef meatballs. I prepared the dish according to this recipe. It's completely simple. The minced meat was purchased assorted beef and chicken. Added salt and ground coriander. The balls were fried in sunflower oil with the addition of butter. I prepared tomato sauce according to the recipe, cut the pepper into small cubes, and added carrots of my own. Simmered covered for about 35 minutes. Served with spaghetti. Great recipe! The child especially liked the small meatballs. They are soft, juicy, tender with a delicious sauce. The adults ate it with buckwheat and everyone really liked the dish. Pepper and garlic give the sauce a special flavor. I advise everyone! Thank you very much to the author for a wonderful dinner!
