Gingerbread cookies glazed with honey and kefir

STEP 2
Grind the sugar with the eggs (save the white of 1 egg for the glaze). Add honey and stir.
STEP 3
Pour in vegetable oil and warm kefir, stir.
STEP 4
Sift the flour and mix it with the baking soda into the main mixture.
STEP 5
Knead the dough. Flour varies greatly, so sift as needed and add more flour if the dough is too runny. We need to achieve such a consistency that the dough is not too dense (otherwise the gingerbread cookies will turn out hard), but at the same time gathers into a ball, as in the photo.
STEP 6
Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough to the thickness of your finger (1cm - 1.5cm).
STEP 7
Use a glass to cut out future gingerbread cookies from the dough or use molds.
STEP 8
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with oil. Lay out the gingerbread cookies and bake them at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
STEP 9
In the meantime, prepare the glaze. Beat the egg whites and gradually add powdered sugar.
STEP 10
After 30 minutes, take out the gingerbread cookies, cover them with glaze, then put them in the oven for another 10 minutes.
STEP 11
Place the finished gingerbreads out to cool. Bon appetit.
