  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a fur coat without marks? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash potatoes, carrots and beets and boil them in their skins. Check the readiness of the vegetables with the tip of a knife or fork; they should easily enter the vegetable. Drain the water in which the vegetables were cooked, let the vegetables cool. You can make mayonnaise for the salad yourself, it will be tastier and healthier. Below the steps you will find a link to a catalog with recipes for homemade mayonnaise.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash chicken eggs with food grade soap, place in a saucepan, cover with water and boil them hard for about 8-10 minutes from the moment they boil. Drain the hot water and immediately pour cold water over the eggs. This is necessary to make them easier to peel.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel chicken eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

You can also grate the yolks or finely chop them with a knife.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the onions and cut into small cubes. To prevent the onions from seeming too bitter, you can pour boiling water over them by pouring hot water in a bowl and leaving for 10 minutes. Then drain the water from the onion.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The salad can be laid out in layers on a flat plate or in a deep salad bowl. Peel the boiled potatoes, grate them and place them in the first layer on a plate. Top the potatoes with a little salt if necessary. Grease the first layer of salad with mayonnaise.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The second layer of salad will be the yolks of chicken eggs. Sprinkle the grated yolks over the potatoes. There is no need to lubricate them with mayonnaise. Next comes the boiled carrots. Peel and grate it as well. Place the carrots on the chicken yolks in a plate, level it and brush with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Sprinkle chopped onions and grated egg whites on top. Grease with mayonnaise. The last layer will be beets. Peel the beets and grate them. Distribute it over the surface of the salad. Spread mayonnaise on top. If desired, the sequence of layers can be changed, the taste will not change. Let the salad cool and soak in the refrigerator. Decorate the shubu salad without herring with herbs and serve. Bon appetit!

I made myself a fur coat for dinner without the herring. I changed the sequence of layers a little. So, I left the eggs for last, to decorate the fur coat; they became the last layer. I laid them on the beets - first the grated egg white, and then the yolk. My onion was sweet, so I didn’t pour boiling water over it. I just cut it into small cubes. When the salad was ready, I put it in the refrigerator to cool and soak. It turned out delicious! For me, a fan of fur coats, this is a great option for my favorite salad in case there is no herring on hand. Thanks a lot!

An interesting version of vegetable salad, I will prepare it. I can’t help but share the recipe for the classic shuba salad with mayonnaise and herring.

An excellent option for a regular fur coat. I smeared only 2 layers with mayonnaise, carrot and top, the salad stood for a while and was well soaked. I liked it as a side dish for meat. It’s convenient to prepare this salad while it’s stewing/baking. It turns out juicy, tasty, colorful due to bright vegetables and, as a contrast, proteins and onions. Another healthy and tasty find on Khrumka. I think for those who are fasting, the recipe will be very useful if seasoned with lean mayonnaise.
