    Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Place the onion in the pan and leave for a few seconds until the onion becomes slightly translucent.

    Add the dumplings to the onions in one even layer. Salt to taste, pepper and sprinkle with your favorite spices. I sometimes use a mixture of Provençal herbs or a pinch of khmeli-suneli. Mix everything well. Reduce the stove flame to minimum, cover the pan with a lid and leave the dumplings to simmer for 10-15 minutes. I had small dumplings, so it took me 10 minutes to cook them.

My husband and I returned home late; we wanted to treat ourselves to something tasty and unusual. We went to the store and bought dumplings. For us this is exotic) My husband wanted fried ones. Of course, I didn’t just fry it like that. By the time we got home, I had already found this recipe on the website) In principle, everything is prepared quickly. I immediately set the onions to fry. By the way, you really shouldn’t fry the onion too much before adding dumplings, otherwise it will cook too quickly and may burn in places. The dumplings were dry, so I poured a little water into the frying pan and added a piece of butter to the vegetable oil for a more delicate taste. First I fried it under the lid, and when the dumplings were fried, I removed the lid. Sprinkled chopped parsley on top. We ate with ketchup and tkemali. This is delicious! The dumplings did not fall apart, they remained intact. The dough is not like boiled dough, it is crispy, but not soggy. Moreover, fried onions gave it its sweetish taste and juiciness. My husband and I left full and satisfied. Thank you!

The recipe is simply excellent. I came home from football and thought about how to please myself, so I decided to cook dumplings. And suddenly I remembered that you can not only cook but also fry. I went to the site and saw this recipe and decided to try it. When I started cooking, everything turned out to be much easier than I thought. Not any difficulties.
