To prepare dinner, I used a recipe for fresh stewed cabbage with mushrooms; I had all the necessary ingredients in stock (I just replaced the tomato paste with fresh tomatoes), and the combination of mushrooms and cabbage was just to my liking. But I didn’t stew the cabbage separately, but added it to the common pan with the vegetables. I simmered the cabbage until it was half cooked, and then kept it with the lid closed for another 15 minutes. For spices, I used bay leaf and a little ground black pepper. It turned out just delicious! I really liked this dish!
