French meat with champignons

Guests will be delighted! A simple recipe for amazingly delicious meat! I love this recipe. This is a complete, very aromatic dish with a rich variety of flavors. I tried, of course, to bake meat with mayonnaise with the same ingredients, but this recipe is significantly inferior to the classic version. I like this French cooking of meat better. The recipe is absolutely French. The family with whom I lived in France were very surprised when they learned that in Russia meat with cheese and mushrooms is called “French” and for some reason they generously cover it with mayonnaise. In France, this recipe is called “Provençal” and, of course, they do not add mayonnaise to it, and only pork meat is used. The base of the dish is potato medallions. Having returned to my native St. Petersburg, this is the only way I cook meat in French.

It is strange that this dish requires fried meat and mushrooms. I have always seen only raw meat in all French meat recipes. And I prefer to cook this dish with raw meat, it turns out juicier.

I also like to make this dish from raw meat. Everything is fried, it will be greasy for me. I’ll do it the old way, I won’t overcook anything, but I’ll take note of the mushrooms, they’ll add some piquancy to the dish.

nooo.. I definitely won’t fry.. firstly it’s a hassle.. secondly it’s more harmful... and thirdly, my recipe without frying and so on 5

There is no need to prepare a side dish separately, so it also saves time. By the way, it’s good that the dish is not filled with mayonnaise; it turns out to be less fatty and high in calories.
