STEP 1
How to make fish with broccoli? You can take any fish, it is better if it is boneless fillet. Broccoli is suitable both fresh and frozen. To enhance the flavors, I usually add bay leaves, dill and peppercorns to the steamer pan. If you have frozen fish, you must first defrost it. STEP 2
Wash the fish fillets well in running water, dry with a paper towel or kitchen towel.
STEP 3
Then season the fish with salt and pepper on both sides.
STEP 4
Pour half a liter of water into the pan-tray of the steamer - enough so that it does not boil over in 20 minutes. Throw in a few bay leaves, a sprig of dill with an umbrella, or just dill seed, or caraway seeds, they all have an excellent aroma that creates a successful combination in tandem with fish.
STEP 5
Grease the pieces of fish fillet with sunflower oil and place on the steamer rack. Sprinkle freshly squeezed lemon juice over the fish.
STEP 6
If you have frozen broccoli, then you do not need to defrost the cabbage in advance. Depending on the manufacturer, even pre-washing may not be necessary. But just in case, throw the inflorescences into a colander and hold under the tap, shaking occasionally. Arrange the broccoli between the fish.
STEP 7
Wash the carrots with a brush under running water, peel, rinse and cut into circles or semicircles. Sprinkle the fish with any favorite seasoning and place over steam. Cover the pan with a lid and steam at low boil for about 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of your fish).
