You have a simply beautiful CHICKEN PIE. The traditional kurnik got its name from the Cossack KUREN (house, dwelling). It is made with three to four fillings, each of which is sandwiched with pancakes. The top is covered with dough and decorated with decorative elements. A hole is made in the middle to allow steam to escape, into which a piece of butter is placed when serving. Studying the history of cooking is a very fascinating process, I recommend it!
