  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make Edelweiss salad with chicken? Prepare your food. If the fillet was frozen, defrost it by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Wash the vegetables well and dry. Place the corn in a sieve to drain the liquid.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, prepare the fillet. How to fry fillet? Season it with salt and pepper, and if desired, you can add some dried herbs. Fry the fillet in olive oil in a well-heated frying pan for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Determine readiness by piercing the meat with a knife - light juice should flow. Otherwise, increase the cooking time. Let the finished fillet cool slightly.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the fillet is roasting, prepare the croutons. How to make crackers? Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the loaf into small cubes, season with a little salt and pepper, add 2 tbsp. l. olive (or other vegetable) oil, stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake them for 7-10 minutes until golden brown. Stir 1-2 times during baking. The crackers cook very quickly, so keep an eye on them.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Prepare the vegetables. Cut the tomatoes into small slices. If the tomatoes are large, then dice or quarter.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Also cut the cucumber and pepper into thin slices. Small cubed onion.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Mix tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions and corn in one bowl.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Cut the finished and rested fillet into thin slices or cubes (at your discretion).

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Prepare the dressing. How to make a dressing? Prepare your food. In addition to olive oil, any vegetable oil is suitable - refined, unrefined, sunflower, mustard, sesame, corn, whatever you like. The main thing is that you like its taste. Also choose mustard according to your taste; spicy, French, or with grains will do.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Mix olive oil, vinegar, mustard, chopped garlic clove, salt and, if desired, pepper. Add dressing to vegetables.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

If desired, add salad in portions. First, vegetables, seasoned with dressing, topped with fillet and croutons; if desired, you can add a little grated cheese. Or you can mix all the ingredients in a salad bowl, except for the croutons, season with dressing, and sprinkle with croutons before serving. Bon appetit!

I cooked the chicken fillet for 30 minutes on both sides. You can prepare the salad without onions, I just forgot about it. The vinegar and mustard can be prepared in any way; the dressing has a pleasant sourness. The cooking time, of course, is not 35 minutes, especially for 4 or more servings, but the salad turned out to be killer. I will cook again.
