    Pour hot tea over raisins, dates and prunes for at least half an hour.

    Beat eggs with powdered sugar.

    Mix dry ingredients (flour, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder)

    Strain the dried fruits. Attention! 150 ml of strained tea is needed for the test!!!

    Sift the dry mixture into the egg mixture. Mix carefully. The dough will become quite elastic. If it's hard to mix, don't worry.

    Line the mold with baking paper. Lay out the dough. Bake at 175 C for 40-60 minutes. depending on the oven and shape. Do not open the oven for the first 30 minutes (the cake may settle). After 30 minutes, you can check the cake with a toothpick for doneness. I have a mold with a diameter of 26 cm. The oven bakes from above and below. Usually bakes for about 50 minutes.
