STEP 1

How to bake dough pies with milk without yeast in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. We will also need regular wooden toothpicks.
STEP 2

How to make filling for pies? Wash the carrots in running water with a brush, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Peel the onion, rinse and finely chop.
STEP 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add onions and carrots and fry until soft over medium heat.
STEP 4

Add minced meat, stir. Wash the greens in running water, dry and finely chop, add to the pan. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Fry until the minced meat is ready. Cool the filling.
STEP 5

How to make pie dough? Place the egg white in a bowl and beat it with a mixer, pour in the vegetable oil and mix.
STEP 6

While stirring, add hot milk in a thin stream.
STEP 7

Add sifted flour and salt. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on its quality. Focus on the consistency of the dough. Read more about flour in the article at the end of the recipe.

Knead a thick, buttery dough, wrap it in film and leave on the table for half an hour.
STEP 9

Roll out the dough into a layer no more than 4-5 mm thick. Using a mold with a diameter of 10-12 cm, cut out blanks for future pies.

Place the filling on each circle.
STEP 11

Now we need toothpicks. The dough is oily, so it is not easy to form. Bring the edges of the pie together and gather them together using a toothpick in a wave-like motion. It should look like in the photo.
STEP 12

From the entire dough I got about 14 pies. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
STEP 13

Bake the pies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden brown. The times are approximate, please be guided by the operating characteristics of your equipment. For ovens, read the separate article at the end of the recipe.
