Curd yeast pie with apricot jam
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to very simply and fairly quickly prepare an airy pie with cottage cheese and apricot jam from yeast dough, which many will definitely like for its excellent taste? First of all, we prepare the necessary ingredients for preparing a sweet curd-apricot pie in the oven.
STEP 2
To prepare the yeast dough, pour two hundred milliliters of milk at room temperature into the mixer bowl, then pour one and a half tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla sugar into it and add sixteen grams of fresh compressed yeast.
STEP 3
Place two tablespoons of pre-sifted premium wheat flour from the total mass into the mixer bowl.
STEP 4
Mix all the ingredients well in the mixer bowl with each other, then cover with a towel and place the bowl with the dough in a warm place for fifteen to twenty minutes to activate the yeast.
STEP 5
After a while, place one hundred and thirty grams of cottage cheese in a mixer bowl with fluffy dough and break one chicken egg into it.
STEP 6
Sift three hundred and fifty grams of premium wheat flour into a large bowl through a fine sieve, then add one teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt and mix.
STEP 7
Pour wheat flour from a large bowl into the mixer bowl and knead the dough with the mixer for seven minutes, then add forty-five grams of softened butter to the bowl with the dough and continue kneading the dough until the required consistency is two minutes.
STEP 8
Grease the resulting elastic and homogeneous dough with one tablespoon of vegetable oil and place in a mixer bowl, then cover with a towel on top and place in a warm place for one hour.
STEP 9
Sprinkle the table with a small amount of premium wheat flour and place the well-proofed dough on it, which then divide into two equal parts.
STEP 10
Place one part of the dough into a mold of suitable diameter and distribute it in an even layer, then cover the top with a towel and let it rise for fifteen minutes.
STEP 11
Knead the second part of the dough well with your hands and collect it into a lump, which is then put into a plastic bag.
STEP 12
As time passes, adjust the dough in the mold with your hands and, stepping back from the edge one centimeter, spread apricot jam on it in an even layer.
STEP 13
Sprinkle the table with a small amount of premium wheat flour and lay out the second part of the dough, then roll out the dough to a fairly thin flat cake larger than the diameter of the mold.
STEP 14
Take a pastry cutter of the required diameter and make holes in the cake, then transfer it to the pan with the pie base and distribute evenly.
STEP 15
Tuck the edges of the top cake under the bottom layer of dough in the mold, then cover the top with a plastic bag and leave the cake for fifteen to twenty minutes.
STEP 16
Brush the proofed pie with warm milk, then place the pan in an oven preheated to one hundred and seventy degrees and bake the pie for twenty-five to thirty minutes until fully cooked.
STEP 17
Remove the cooked pie from the oven after time has passed and release it from the mold.
STEP 18
Cut the sweet curd-apricot pie into pieces, which then place on serving plates and serve.
