  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cucumbers in tomato sauce with garlic for the winter? To prepare cucumbers in tomato filling for the winter, take the products according to the list: gherkin cucumbers, strong and elastic, tomato paste (this is an option with paste filling) and a set of spices, the important ones are garlic and dill (young dill umbrellas are better, mature ones will not work - too tart and give a brown color to the filling), add more salt, sugar, citric acid and, if you want a spicy option, hot pepper.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Dilute good 100% tomato paste with water to form thick tomato juice, add salt, sugar, citric acid and bring to a boil before the cucumbers in jars are sterilized by pouring twice.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In sterile jars (sterilize the jars in any way, I often use the microwave: 5 minutes per liter jar with a small amount of water at maximum microwave power) place coarsely chopped garlic cloves - when chopped, the garlic is more aromatic, its juice directly penetrates into the filling. Place a few peas of black and allspice, along with an umbrella of cloves.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the cucumbers, previously soaked in cold water for two to three hours, in jars, cutting off the ends. In liter bottles with a wide neck it is very convenient to place them tightly while standing.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Fill the jars to the top, placing sprigs of fresh dill between the cucumbers.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Boil water and pour cucumbers into jars overflowing, cover with boiled lids for 3-4 minutes, drain. Boil again and pour over the cucumbers again.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

After draining the water from the jars for the second time, pour in the boiling tomato filling and immediately quickly screw the lids tightly. Place the jars of cucumbers in tomato sauce under the fur coat, placing them on the lids until they cool completely. After the workpiece has cooled, jars of cucumbers can be stored in the room or sent to the basement.
