Crucian carp with cheese in the oven

A very nutritious and delicious dish with a creamy taste! I've always wanted to try crucian carp in sour cream and cheese. This is probably one of the oldest culinary recipes of classical Ukrainian cuisine. True, they began to add cheese to this food only in our days. In general, I recently found a great recipe and decided to make my dream come true. I bought three nice crucian carp – that’s about 500-600 grams. There is no need to cut them - just wash them, clean them of scales and fins and gut them. On top of everything else, I also feed the heads to cats - there is nothing tasty in them. Another secret - dry each fish with a napkin, both inside and outside. Then, when frying, the crust turns out more crispy and tasty. And I love this kind of fish.

    While the crucian carp are fried, I cut the onion into large rings, grate the cheese and finely chop the greens. Sometimes I mix herbs and sour cream almost immediately - it’s even easier to season the crucian carp. Then I preheat the oven - you need to place the crucian carp in it after frying.

    But first, I put the fish in a deep baking pan, cover it with onion rings, and completely fill it with sour cream and herbs.

    and sprinkle grated cheese on top. By the way, the fattier the sour cream, the more tender the food will be. You need to bake crucian carp quickly - until the cheese is completely melted and acquires a golden crust. It can be served almost immediately.
