STEP 1

How to make cream cheese sauce? Prepare your food. Parmesan is a hard cheese; grating it at home is very tedious and labor-intensive, so it is advisable to purchase grated cheese right away. If you can't find Parmesan, replace it with any other hard cheese.
STEP 2

Melt the butter in a frying pan. Keep the heat low so it doesn't burn.
STEP 3

Carefully add the wheat flour. Stirring, fry the flour in oil until golden brown.
STEP 4

Begin adding cream carefully. Pour them in small portions and immediately stir the sauce with a spatula so that no lumps form. Continue until the cream is gone.
STEP 5

Add salt (taking into account the saltiness of the cheese) and ground black pepper to the almost finished sauce. You can also add a little grated nutmeg for a richer taste and aroma. Add grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until smooth.
STEP 6

If you find the sauce too thick, you can add a little more cream or milk until you reach the desired consistency. It is advisable to serve this sauce immediately after cooking, although it is also good cooled or chilled. Bon appetit!
