Pour boiling water over the couscous (take 1 serving of boiling water for 1 serving of cereal), cover with a lid and let stand for 10 minutes.

While the cereal is steaming, let's take care of the vegetables. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes. Grind the chili pepper if desired. Instead of one whole pepper, I used half a yellow and a red pepper.

Cut the onion into small cubes and also chop the tomatoes.
STEP 5
Mix vegetables in a bowl, add chopped basil.
STEP 6
Drain the oil from the tuna (if desired, you can leave the oil and season the salad with it). Using a fork, mash the fish and add to the vegetables.
STEP 7
Add salt, pepper and oil, mix.
STEP 8
Fluff the couscous with a fork, add to the salad bowl and stir. If necessary, add more salt and pepper.
