Classic pork lagman
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make classic pork lagman at home? Very fast and easy! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. What meat can you take besides pork? Beef and lamb will do. But keep in mind that the calorie content and cooking time of the dish will change. In addition to these spices, you can add your own to taste.
STEP 2

Wash the meat, dry it and cut into medium cubes. Pork needs no bones, just pulp. Choose a part of the carcass according to your taste. This could be a ham, shoulder, carbonate, tenderloin, etc. I have a ham.
STEP 3

Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into strips.
STEP 4

Peel the radish and also cut into strips.

Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
STEP 6

Peel the garlic, chop finely or pass through a press.
STEP 7

Finely chop the greens. I have parsley and dill. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, such as cilantro, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.

Heat vegetable oil in a cauldron over high heat. Add the pork and fry, stirring, until golden brown.

At the end, sprinkle the meat with salt, paprika and chili pepper. You can omit the chili pepper altogether or replace it with ground black pepper.

Add the prepared vegetables to the cauldron with the pork. Fry, stirring, 3-5 minutes.
STEP 11

Add canned tomatoes, pour in broth. Bring everything to a boil. You can replace canned tomatoes with fresh crushed pureed tomatoes. You can use any broth: vegetable, meat or chicken.
STEP 12

Simmer over low heat, covered, for about 40 minutes. For even more broth, you can add more canned tomatoes or hot broth.
STEP 13

Pour the chopped garlic and half the chopped herbs into the cauldron. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
STEP 14

Boil the lagman noodles in plenty of boiling salted water until tender.
STEP 15

Place the finished noodles in a colander and rinse with clean cold water to prevent them from sticking together.
STEP 16

Distribute the noodles among deep portioned plates, then the stewed meat with vegetables. Sprinkle the lagman with pork and noodles with the remaining chopped herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
