How to make a classic jellied pie with cabbage? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. Take one large egg or two small ones.

Pour the milk into a large bowl and add the egg. Mix.

Then stir in the sour cream and add a little salt and spices to the dough to taste. Stir until smooth. To do this, you can use a mixer.

Gradually add sifted flour and baking soda into the bowl and knead the dough. You may need a little more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the consistency of the dough.

The finished dough is neither liquid nor thick. It leaves traces, but then, nevertheless, merges into the general mass.

For the filling, shred the cabbage. You can knead it a little with your hands to make it softer.

For baking, take a springform pan (16 cm). Cover the bottom with cooking parchment and grease the sides with vegetable oil. Pour half of the prepared dough into the bottom of the mold.

Then add the prepared cabbage.

Pour the second half of the dough over the cabbage and sprinkle the top of the future pie with sesame seeds. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes. When baking, use your oven as a guide.

The finished pie will increase slightly in size and become an appetizing golden color. Remove it from the oven and cool slightly. Remove the cake from the mold and serve.
