Pastries with cabbage filling are one of my family's favorites. But it happens that you want cabbage pie, but don’t want to bother with the dough. The recipe for a classic jellied pie with cabbage is a real lifesaver at such moments. This pie is prepared quickly and very simply. And what could be simpler than mixing all the ingredients for the dough, shredding the cabbage and putting it all together in a baking dish. Replaced sour cream with mayonnaise. I wasn’t sure that mayonnaise would extinguish the soda, so I additionally extinguished it with vinegar. I added a little salt to the cabbage for the filling. I baked the pie for exactly 40 minutes in a mold with a diameter of 18 cm. The pie turned out very tender, soft, and aromatic. The cabbage also became soft. When slicing, the pie does not crumble and the filling does not fall out. This pie is an ideal option for quick and tasty baking. Julia, thank you very much for the recipe!
