STEP 1

How to make chrysanthemum cookies? Prepare your ingredients. First remove the butter from the refrigerator, measure out the required amount and leave it on the table to soften. It’s better to take fine sugar or powdered sugar (I have powdered sugar), if you don’t have them on hand, you can take regular sugar, but in step 2 you need to stir until the sugar crystals dissolve. STEP 2

In a deep bowl, mix softened butter and powdered sugar until white. This can be done with a mixer or a hand whisk.

Quench the soda with lemon juice and add to the dough. Stir the dough with a whisk until the ingredients are combined.
STEP 5

Add sifted flour to the dough and knead into an elastic dough. It gathers well into a ball and does not stick to your hands.
STEP 6

Divide the dough into several parts and roll them into oblong sausages (the dough will harden and in this form it will be more convenient to pass it through a meat grinder). Wrap each part in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 40 minutes or freezer for 15 minutes.
STEP 7

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Take pieces of chilled dough and pass through a meat grinder with large mesh, after 5 cm of the dough that comes out, cut it with a knife or a culinary spatula. Place the cookies on a baking sheet in small portions, pinching them slightly at the base. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown.
STEP 8

Remove the finished dough from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool. The cookies are perfect with tea or a glass of milk. Such pastries will decorate any holiday table.
