Chopped pork schnitzel

Juicy and tender inside, with a golden crispy crust! Chopped pork schnitzel is juicier and softer than one prepared the classic way from whole slices of meat. Such schnitzels will diversify the everyday table and become a signature dish at a holiday.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chopped pork schnitzel? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. In addition to the indicated spices, you can add your own to taste, for example, paprika, suneli hops, dry herbs, etc. When using ready-made spice mixtures, keep in mind that they usually already contain salt and pepper and otherwise you risk oversalting and peppering the dish.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

If you have a whole piece of pork, cut it into thin slices. Beat the chopped meat with a hammer.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the chopped pork slices into thin strips. And these strips, in turn, cut into small cubes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Transfer the pork to a bag. Add flour and spices. Shake the bag well so that the flour and spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the chopped pork in a bowl. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. The minced meat should have such a viscous consistency that it does not break up into separate pieces when forming the schnitzels. If necessary, you can add a little more flour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Form the minced meat into oval schnitzels the size of your palm and carefully roll them on all sides in breadcrumbs.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

In a frying pan over medium heat (I have a setting of 6 out of 9), heat the vegetable oil and fry the schnitzels in it for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Transfer the finished schnitzels to a plate and serve with any side dish. Bon appetit!

I liked the idea with minced meat. I'll try, thanks. This is how I usually cook pork schnitzel.

The schnitzels turned out amazing! Soft, juicy inside, with a crispy, appetizing crust on top, aromatic and very tasty! I prepared minced pork schnitzel, cutting the meat into small cubes, I had pork ham. Then I combined the meat with flour and salt in a deep bowl, stirred, added one egg and kneaded the minced meat. It turned out quite viscous. I spooned the minced meat into a plate with breadcrumbs. I took a heaping spoonful. I leveled the minced meat, forming an oval schnitzel and trying to keep it quite thin, so the meat would be better fried. I fried the schnitzels in vegetable oil in a heated frying pan for 5 minutes on each side. I did everything pretty quickly. The result is excellent! Thank you so much for the recipe!

Schnitzel is always popular - golden brown crust, juicy meat. How is chopped pork schnitzel different from a cutlet? Because you need to fry it in a large amount of vegetable oil, like deep frying. The schnitzel should have a crispy crust.
