Chocolate biscuits with cherries

So let's get started! Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa

Add sugar, mix

Make a well in the flour mixture. Mix water, or rather boiling water, with vegetable oil and add to the flour mixture

Knead the dough, it turns out very soft and tender, if the dough turns out sticky, then add a little flour (I needed 1 tbsp). Let the finished dough rest for 5 minutes

For the filling, place the cherries in a sieve and let the excess juice drain (if you use frozen ones, you need to defrost them first).
STEP 7
Add sugar to taste and 2 tsp. starch. Mix everything. The filling is ready.

Roll out the dough immediately on baking paper

Roll out into a thin layer and place the filling in the center
STEP 10
And folding the edges, we form a pie.
STEP 11
Bake the finished pie at 200C for about 20 minutes. 5 minutes before it was ready, I sprinkled almond petals on top of the biscuit, so they turned slightly golden
STEP 12
We take our galette out of the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy! Enjoy your tea!
