Chicken meatballs in cream sauce in the oven

STEP 1

How to bake chicken meatballs in creamy sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. To make meatballs, you can use any chicken meat - breast or thigh fillet. Cream needs 20% fat content. If you don’t have cream, you can replace it with regular liquid sour cream 10-15% fat. If the sour cream is fatty and thick, you can dilute it with milk.

Peel the potatoes and cut into medium cubes.
STEP 3

Peel the carrots and cut into semicircles.
STEP 4

Place the potatoes and carrots in a greased baking dish, reserving a handful for the meatballs. Lightly salt the vegetables.
STEP 5

Now start preparing the meatballs. First boil the rice in a large amount of salted water and place the finished rice in a sieve and let the water drain. Cool the cereal.
STEP 6

Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it into cubes.
STEP 7

Peel the garlic.

Place chicken fillet, a handful of reserved potatoes and garlic into a blender bowl.
STEP 9

Grind everything until smooth.
STEP 10

Transfer the minced meat to a bowl and add cooked rice and spices.

Mix the minced meat thoroughly with your hands until smooth.

Form the minced meat into identical walnut-sized meatballs and place them in a baking dish on top of the vegetables.
STEP 13

Pour water into the mold. Top the meatballs with cream and sprinkle with dried paprika flakes if desired.
STEP 14

Cover the pan with foil so that the top does not burn and the meatballs retain their juiciness. Place the pan with meatballs and vegetables in an oven preheated to 170°C for 40-45 minutes.
STEP 15

Place the finished meatballs with a side dish of potatoes and carrots on a plate and serve. Bon appetit!
