If you don’t have cream, you can replace it with regular liquid sour cream 10-15% fat. If the sour cream is fatty and thick, you can dilute it with milk.

    Peel the potatoes and cut into medium cubes.

    Peel the carrots and cut into semicircles.

    Place the potatoes and carrots in a greased baking dish, reserving a handful for the meatballs. Lightly salt the vegetables.

Today for dinner I baked chicken meatballs in a creamy sauce in the oven. I like these two-in-one dishes, very convenient. I had minced chicken breasts, I made it in a meat grinder. In addition to the garlic, I added half an onion for juiciness. I took regular round grain rice. After boiling, I washed it with cold water. I decided to grate the potatoes, we like it better that way. For garnish, I salted the carrots and potatoes in a bowl, and after five minutes I drained the liquid. After I put everything in the mold, I poured the sauce over the meatballs, but I didn’t add any paprika. I baked it under foil for an hour, and then 10 minutes without it under the grill. The vegetables and meatballs turned out soft and juicy, very tasty. This is an excellent dietary dish, and also filling! Thank you very much!
