Often such mixtures already contain salt and pepper, take this into account, otherwise you risk oversalting and peppering the dish.

    Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it crosswise into slices.

    Beat each slice with a hammer, trying to maintain the integrity of the piece. Sprinkle the resulting chicken pieces with chicken spices, dry garlic, salt and pepper. If desired, you can replace dry garlic with 1-2 cloves of fresh garlic, passed through a press.

    Pour kefir over the chicken, stir and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour or longer.

    Peel the potatoes and cut into slices. Salt and pepper the potatoes, pour 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and stir. I sprinkled the remaining chicken spices over the potatoes.

    Wash the tomatoes and cut into slices. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

    Cut the onion into thin rings.

    Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

    Place all the potatoes in a baking dish greased with the remaining vegetable oil.

    Combine the grated cheese with the remaining kefir marinade from the chicken and mix.

    Spread the cheese-kefir mixture on top of the tomatoes in a thin, even layer. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180°C for 40-45 minutes. If the cheese begins to brown and the potatoes and chicken are not yet ready, cover the pan with foil. Bon appetit!

I made this recipe today and was very pleased! True, there is still something to work on, because a lot depends on the dishes you use when baking and on the stove. Considering the above factors, my potatoes turned out a little al dente, but this didn’t upset me at all, because everything else was great - aromatic, tasty fillet, tomatoes with cheese! I’m adding the dish to my menu and next time it will be incomparably delicious, because the potatoes will melt in your mouth! Thanks to the author for the recipe!!! In addition to everything, the dish turned out very bright and beautiful. You can happily serve it for a family dinner!
