  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chicken drumsticks in creamy mustard sauce? Prepare everything you need for this. To prevent the meat from drying out, use drumsticks. which have not been frozen. Wash the chicken drumsticks and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place chicken drumsticks in a large bowl. Sprinkle them with salt and spices. Pour in some vegetable oil. Mix them with your hands, thoroughly rubbing the spices into the meat. Leave the drumsticks like this for 15-20 minutes to marinate a little.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the drumsticks over high heat on all sides until slightly browned.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the fried drumsticks in a baking dish. It can be glass, ceramic or metal. I find it more convenient to cook in ceramic.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce for the chicken. To do this, combine cream and white wine. Add chopped garlic, mustard, a little salt and spices. Curry, paprika, or just a little ground black pepper are suitable as spices for chicken. Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. But there is no need to boil it - just heat it up! You will learn the intricacies of making cream sauce from the article below the steps.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the resulting hot sauce over the drumsticks immediately in the pan. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 30-35 minutes. The times are approximate, use your oven as a guide. Read more about how ovens work in a separate article at the end of the recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

While baking, you can baste the chicken 2-3 times with the sauce in which it is cooked. The finished chicken drumsticks will turn a delicious golden color. If you pierce the leg with a knife, a light juice should appear from it - broth. If the juice is pink, then it's not ready yet!

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Transfer the finished chicken drumsticks to a plate and serve hot. Bon appetit!

I wanted to cook drumsticks in a new way and found an interesting recipe: chicken drumsticks in a creamy mustard sauce. The combination of mustard and cream turned out to be incredibly tasty! I washed the drumsticks, dried them with napkins, and put them in a bowl. Sprinkled with salt, smoked paprika, pepper, poured oil and mixed well so that all the spices were evenly distributed over the drumsticks. At this time, I prepared the sauce: I added mustard to the cream and stirred. I placed the drumsticks in a baking dish, added the sauce and put them in the oven to bake at 180° for 40 minutes. The chicken drumsticks turned out delicious: aromatic, tender, juicy!!!! I highly recommend trying it and thanks to Yulia M. for such a wonderful recipe!

The recipe is quite simple and does not take much time to prepare. And besides, it is not greasy and is good for those who are afraid of gaining weight. A very good dish for a holiday table. I'll try to cook these legs for dinner tonight. I cooked it similar, only I stuffed the legs with meat. Beautifully hem on the table along with mashed potatoes. This was the first thing the guests learned and licked their fingers.

Delicious!!! The recipe is actually simple. You can cook "in between times", and the result... mmm... you'll lick your fingers! I generally don’t like mustard, but then I decided to try it and really liked it. I recommend it to everyone.

An excellent choice for a family dinner! It's simply impossible to resist chicken drumsticks in creamy mustard sauce. Depending on the set of spices, the chicken can turn out spicy, hot or just tender. Mine turned out unusually tender. Thanks for the recipe!
