  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chicken breast in batter in a frying pan? Prepare all the necessary products. If you are not using fillets, remove the skin and bones from the breast. It is preferable, of course, to use ready-made chicken breast fillet, not frozen, but chilled. If the breast is too thick, cut it in half lengthwise, otherwise it may not cook through. Any vegetable oil will do, but to prevent it from burning, it must be refined.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat the egg into a bowl and combine with milk. Instead of milk, you can take any liquid dairy product, because we use it to make batter. It can be kefir, yogurt, and even water, even carbonated water. Mix everything with a fork, adding a little salt.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Sift the flour. Be sure to sift - this will make the batter more airy. As for flour, it can also be different, and depending on this, the taste of the finished dish will be different. Flour can be rice, buckwheat, or oatmeal.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Mix everything until smooth and free of lumps.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Wash the breasts, dry them, cut lengthwise if necessary. There is no need to salt it, otherwise the meat will turn out a little dry. We will have a salty batter, so the dish will not be bland.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the chicken breast in the liquid batter and dip it well several times so that the batter adheres well to it.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Let me note again that the oil can be anything: regular sunflower, corn, or olive. Gently place the battered breast into well-heated oil. Most likely there will be splashes, so immediately reduce the heat a little. Fry for about 7 minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Carefully turn the fried breast over and cook on the other side for about 7 minutes. Look at the thickness of your breast, so you can repeat the frying for another 5 minutes on each side. The batter is very crispy, and the meat is tender and juicy.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Serve the finished dish immediately hot, while it is crispy and aromatic. Bon appetit!

For dinner I decided to cook chicken breast in batter in a frying pan. To make the roasting more even, I cut the breast lengthwise (or you can lightly beat the meat to smooth out the bulges, forming pieces of equal thickness). For the batter, I mixed flour, egg, milk, added salt well, and stirred until smooth. Chicken pieces were dipped in batter and fried in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil until golden brown. Served chicken breast with fresh vegetable salad. The meat turned out very juicy. By itself it is a little bland, but in combination with salty batter it turns out very tasty! Thanks to the author for the recipe!
