    Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Pour some vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped onion for a couple of minutes.

    Then place the minced meat in the pan and mix it with the onion. Fry everything together until the minced meat is ready. Add a little salt and spices to taste.

    In a separate bowl, mix eggs and sour cream. Add some salt and spices. Whisk everything until smooth.

    Mix sour cream filling with cooked rice. Of course, you can simply pour the filling on top of the casserole, but it will not saturate it completely and there will be ordinary rice at the bottom.

    For baking, take any heat-resistant form. I have a ceramic mold. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil and lay out half of the prepared rice. Spread it evenly over the entire surface.

I prepared a casserole with rice and minced meat in the oven and this dish won over my whole family! The children didn’t even know it was possible to combine products like this). I made the minced meat myself from chicken breast and pork belly. I added some grated carrots to the roast. It turned out juicy! I took long grain steamed rice, it was perfect for the casserole. I liked the idea of ​​pre-mixing it with sour cream and eggs. Indeed, the filling enveloped every grain and the casserole turned out as whole as a pie. I baked my dish for an hour, because I took more ingredients than in the recipe. Even when hot, the casserole cuts perfectly into pieces, and after cooling it’s even better! I prepared it exactly as written in the recipe. The only thing is that I added spices with dried carrots and salt to the minced meat during frying, I like it better) A successful recipe from the “all in one dish” series. Prepared - and nothing else is required. Everyone will be full and happy! The casserole looks delicious and tastes great too! Now this is my lifesaver when I don’t know what to cook for dinner.
