    How to make mashed potato casserole in the oven with minced meat? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use any minced meat: pork, chicken, beef or mixed. I took minced pork. If necessary, defrost the minced meat in advance. Wash the vegetables and eggs well and dry with napkins.

    Peel the potatoes, rinse, and place in a saucepan with water. Salt the water. And boil the potatoes until done. To speed up the process, cut the potatoes into smaller pieces.

    Drain the water from the pan through a colander. Grind hot potatoes into puree with the addition of warm milk. You can do this in any way convenient for you: with a masher, with a blender.

I have prepared a similar casserole many times with different types of minced meat, mainly pork and chicken. This time I wanted to experiment with the filling) The fact is that I had dry soy minced meat in the form of large granules. We used to often buy soy meat, my husband and I like it. But it hasn’t been on sale for a long time, and then I accidentally saw it in an online store. So I decided to feed the family, and at the same time look at the children’s reaction) For the filling, I fried two onions until golden brown, and then added the soaked and squeezed “minced meat”. Fry until done, adding spices and tomato paste. I formed the casserole in layers, as written in the recipe. My mold is large, but there wasn’t enough cheese, so I “enriched” the top a little. Added an egg and a tablespoon of sour cream to the grated cheese. I baked all this beauty for 35 minutes. It turned out to be a wonderful casserole with a golden brown crust! I offered it to the children: my son didn’t notice anything unusual at all, although he is picky about meat. And my daughter immediately asked what it was) After my explanation, she ate two servings and said that it was very tasty! I'm glad they liked it) Moreover, I myself am completely delighted. This casserole is delicious!
