Cake in the shape of number 2
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make a cake in the shape of the number 2? To prepare honey cakes, prepare the necessary ingredients.
STEP 2
Take a non-stick pan, add chopped butter and add liquid honey. If the honey is hard, you can melt it in the microwave. Place the pan on the fire and wait for the butter to melt.
STEP 3
While the butter is melting, combine the eggs and sugar in a separate bowl. Mix them.
STEP 4
Add eggs and sugar to the melted, not quite hot butter and mix everything until smooth.
STEP 5
Place the pan on the heat again and bring the mixture to a boil. Add baking soda and remove pan from heat. When adding soda, the mass will turn into foam and increase in volume. Mix everything vigorously and leave to cool to room temperature.
STEP 6
Then add the sifted flour and knead the dough. There is no need to add excess flour, otherwise the dough will become tight and tough.
STEP 7
Wrap the finished dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
STEP 8
For the stencil, draw the number 2 on an A4 sheet and cut it along the contour.
STEP 9
Divide the finished dough into 3 parts. Roll each one out to a thickness of 4-6 mm and cut along the contour of the stencil using a sharp knife.
STEP 10
Prick the dough with a fork over the entire surface so that it does not swell during baking. Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 5-6 minutes. Bake 3 cakes and cool them.
STEP 11
For the cream, refrigerate the heavy cream. Remove the curd cheese from the refrigerator in advance so that it comes to room temperature. this will make it easier to mix into the cream.
STEP 12
Combine the cream with powdered sugar and beat into a stable cream. Add curd cheese to it and stir it in.
STEP 13
Using a pastry bag, pipe the cream over the entire surface of the cake.
STEP 14
Then cover with the second cake layer and repeat the layers again. Assemble the cake. Place the cake in the refrigerator overnight, covered with something airtight. This is necessary so that the moisture from the cream does not evaporate, but permeates the cakes so that they are soft.
STEP 15
Decorate the finished cake with sweets, cookies or other treats. Enjoy your tea!
