Chop the sausage into small cubes.

Boil the potatoes in their skins, rinse with cold water, cool, and then peel. Cut into thin slices and pass through a vinaigrette. If you don’t have a vinaigrette, just cut into cubes. Cut the onion into small cubes.

We cut the cucumbers in the same way.

Squeeze the cabbage and chop it if it is too coarsely chopped. Chop the dill. Mix apple cider vinegar, cabbage brine and vegetable oil, add sugar, red pepper and salt, and beat well.

The salad tastes great, especially if it turns out well, which it doesn't always do. It is better to cook the potatoes in advance, even a day before preparing the entire dish, and cool them in the refrigerator so that they do not lose their shape when cutting. The onion must be doused with boiling water before slicing. Instead of dill, their seeds are great.

I don’t like yesterday’s potatoes; I only put freshly boiled ones in salads. Yesterday's can be fried - then it will be delicious. And how can you NOT get a salad? What's so complicated about this? Your comments confuse me...
