  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake a sponge roll with boiled condensed milk in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Sift flour with baking powder. Take out the condensed milk (if it was in the refrigerator) in advance. Take eggs chilled.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Add sugar, preferably fine sugar.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Using a mixer, beat the eggs with sugar until the mass doubles (beat for about 3-5 minutes). The mass will become dense and light.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the sifted flour and baking powder and gently but quickly fold them into the previously whipped mixture.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the dough into a large mold or baking tray lined with baking paper (choose a trusted manufacturer). Important! The sponge cake turns out very fluffy. Therefore, you need to take a large and flat shape. Otherwise, it will be difficult to roll a sponge cake baked in a small pan (it will begin to crack).

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. oven for 15 minutes. The exact baking time will depend on the features of your oven.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Quickly turn the finished sponge cake onto a towel, remove the paper and roll it up while still hot. Leave it like this for five minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

After partial cooling, carefully unroll the roll. Carefully spread the entire inner surface with boiled condensed milk and roll it again. The biscuit is very brittle, so it is important to immediately roll it into a roll, and then add the filling when it has cooled slightly.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Cool the finished roll completely and you can cut it for tea.

It was my first time making a roll, so I was surprised that everything was so simple 🙈 Half an hour after breaking the first egg, we already tried the roll! Minimum ingredients, fast cooking speed, incomparable taste ❤️Thank you very much for the recipe, now I’ll experiment with different fillings 😊

I baked a sponge roll with condensed milk boiled in the oven. The biscuit dough is prepared quickly, the main thing is to beat the eggs and sugar well (I also make sure to add a pinch of salt) and carefully mix the flour and baking powder with the sugar-egg mixture. The dough was poured onto a baking sheet covered with parchment (it is best to use siliconized one, it does not burn, is easily removed from baking and can be reused). Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until lightly browned. Roll the finished roll hot using a towel until it cools. Then I coated it with boiled condensed milk (the most delicious from whole milk, without vegetable fats), and again rolled it up. You can cut it into slices and drink tea))). The biscuit turns out tender, airy, and goes well with boiled condensed milk. Yummy!!! Thanks for the recipe, Anna!

It turned out to be a very tasty roll. To make it easier to roll the biscuit, I used a regular rolling pin)

I made the biscuit according to the recipe, but changed the filling, since the condensed milk was partially eaten before the roll was baked. I made a cream from the remaining condensed milk and butter, first coated the sponge cake with a thin layer of apple jam, and spread the cream on top. The result was a wonderful dessert for tea. Tender and tasty, I’m even glad that I made such a cream from condensed milk))

Great recipe, it turned out great! It was in the oven for 23 minutes. Everyone has different ovens. I diluted the condensed milk with sour cream a little, the cream became more tender and tasty. It soaked the roll perfectly. I added half the walnuts because one daughter eats nuts, the other doesn’t.
