STEP 1
How to quite simply prepare aromatic, hearty beetroot borscht with beef brisket, which is sure to please many for its wonderful taste? First of all, we prepare the necessary products with spices for preparing homemade rich borscht with beef and vegetables in Siberian style.
STEP 2
To prepare borscht, take a five-liter pan and pour two and a half liters of cold water into it, then place the pan on the stove and put in it five hundred grams of pre-well-washed beef brisket, a piece of peeled carrot and half a head of peeled onion.
STEP 3
Turn on the stove to a high temperature, then cover the pan with a lid and bring the water to a boil.
STEP 4
To prepare the vegetable dressing, take a coarse grater and grate one carrot and one large beet, then cut one onion into half rings. Take a suitable frying pan and place it on the stove, then pour three tablespoons of vegetable oil into it, add grated carrots, chopped onions and stir occasionally, fry the vegetables until the onions are transparent.
STEP 5
Place the grated beets in a common frying pan and stirring occasionally, continue to simmer the vegetables on medium heat on the stove.
STEP 6
Take one medium tomato and pour boiling water over it, then peel it and cut it into a small cube, then put it in a common frying pan, mix all the ingredients together and continue to simmer the vegetables.
STEP 7
Skim the resulting foam from the meat broth boiling in the pan, then cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking the meat at medium heat for one hour.
STEP 8
Cut one red bell pepper into half rings and place it in a common frying pan, then mix all the ingredients together and continue to simmer the vegetables on medium heat on the stove for about two minutes.
STEP 9
Add two cloves of garlic, passed through a press, half a teaspoon of sugar, salt to taste into a common frying pan and mix all the ingredients together.
STEP 10
Pour two ladlefuls of meat broth into the frying pan with vegetables, then cover it with a lid and continue to simmer the vegetables at the lowest temperature on the stove for about five to seven minutes.
STEP 11
Cut two hundred grams of white cabbage into strips and four medium potatoes into small random cubes.
STEP 12
Place the boiled meat from the pan, then remove it from the bones and cut into small arbitrary pieces.
STEP 13
Place diced potatoes in a saucepan with meat broth and bring it to a boil over high heat on the stove.
STEP 14
Place the meat cut into pieces into a saucepan with boiling broth.
STEP 15
Place the cabbage cut into strips into the pan and boil for five minutes on medium heat on the stove.
STEP 16
Switch the stove to the lowest temperature and add salt to taste to the pan, then add the previously prepared vegetable dressing into it and mix all the ingredients together.
STEP 17
Cover the pan with a lid and continue cooking the borscht-beetroot soup for fifteen to twenty minutes until the potatoes are ready.
STEP 18
After a while, add bay leaf and a mixture of red and black peppers to the pan to taste and mix all the ingredients well, then cover the pan with a lid and let the cooked borscht brew for a few minutes on the stove off.
