  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake pineapple with cheese in the oven for a holiday? Prepare the necessary products. Choose a ripe pineapple. Wash it with cool water in advance, including the green top. For now, set the pineapple aside to drain. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the carrots and onions, wash and dry. Cut the onion into quarters and the carrots into cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Rinse the fillets under cool water and dry with paper towels. Trim the meat from fat, films and veins. Cut the fillet across the grain into small pieces.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the meat and vegetables in different bowls, sprinkle with flour and roll well in it. Shake off excess flour. I use a small colander for this.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place butter in a frying pan, place it over medium heat and, when it is almost melted, pour in a little vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, fry the carrots and onions in it. As soon as the onions begin to brown, transfer the vegetables to a plate. Over high heat and in the same oil, fry the meat until a light crust just begins to appear on it. Vegetable oil may need to be added. Salt, pepper and season the meat.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place vegetables and meat in a frying pan, pour in 4 tablespoons of water and reduce heat to low. Mix everything well. Simmer the meat, uncovered, for 1-2 minutes. The liquid should almost all evaporate, and the meat should be cooked and juicy.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Prepare the pineapple. Using a sharp knife, cut it in half lengthwise, including the green part. Cut out the hard core; it will not be needed. Ripe pineapple is quite easy to cut.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Carefully cut out the flesh without damaging the boat shape. Cut the pulp into slices the same size as the meat. Leave the released juice in the pineapple body.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Gently mix the pineapple pieces with the meat and vegetables.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Fill the prepared pineapple half with a small mound of filling. Sprinkle finely grated cheese on top. Cover the body of the pineapple with foil, leaving the filling exposed. This will keep the pineapple looking fresh. Place the pineapple in a mold and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, on a medium level, top-bottom mode. When the cheese has melted and begins to brown, remove the pineapple from the oven.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Serve the baked pineapple hot. This dish is self-sufficient; you can only decorate it a little with herbs. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the interesting recipe. I'll have to cook it. I mostly bake pineapples with meat and chicken. Here is one of my recipes for chicken chops with pineapple and cheese

This recipe has been in my piggy bank for a long time, I was still waiting for the right moment. I usually make salads with pineapples, but I’ve never baked them before. I like the combination of chicken and pineapple, so I decided to cook it) The fruit turned out to be very ripe and sweet, it was easy to cut. For the filling I followed the recipe. I fried the chicken, onions, carrots, added curry, salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mixed with pineapple pieces. There was quite a lot of filling. I also grated the cheese with all my heart) True, the cheese I came across was such that it didn’t want to melt at all. Nevertheless, the baked pineapple was cooked. And the cheese crust sealed the juicy filling inside well. The filling is not unique in taste, it's not for everyone. I like the combination of meat and something sweet. My husband liked it too. The children refused) Pineapple juice soaked the chicken pieces, they became sweetish, aromatic, curry adds spiciness to this tropical delicacy. This is an original, unusual recipe, I think everyone should try this taste at least once) Thank you for the new dish!
