STEP 1

How to make zucchini with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be used from any type of meat or a mixed composition. I will use ground pork. I make this minced meat at home myself, since store-bought mince releases a lot of moisture and fat. Rinse the zucchini and tomatoes in running water to remove any dirt.
STEP 2

Choose young zucchini. This type of zucchini has a thin skin that does not need to be peeled and there is no need to remove the seeds. Cut off the tails on both sides, and cut the zucchini itself into circles, 1-1.5 cm thick. There is no need to cut it very thin, since when baked, the zucchini slices become very soft.
STEP 3

Minced meat must first be fried with onions in butter. This is necessary in order to equalize the cooking time of all ingredients. Zucchini and tomatoes bake quickly, but minced meat takes a little longer. To fry, peel the onion and chop finely. Fry it for a couple of minutes, then add minced meat to it and fry everything together for another 10 minutes. You can salt the minced meat a little and add spices to taste.
STEP 4

For baking, choose any heat-resistant form. It can be made of glass, metal or, like mine, ceramic. Lightly grease the bottom and sides of the pan with oil and place the prepared zucchini circles.
STEP 5

Place a little minced meat filling on each zucchini circle. You can add a little chopped garlic for flavor. It will give the dish an additional pleasant aroma.
STEP 6

Cut the tomatoes into slices and place a tomato slice on each zucchini.
STEP 7

Grate the cheese and sprinkle on each tomato. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 20-25 minutes. When baking, use your oven as a guide.
STEP 8

During baking, the zucchini will become soft and begin to brown a little. Some juice will appear from them. And the cheese on the surface will melt and brown a little. Remove the pan from the oven, transfer the zucchini to a platter and serve.
STEP 9
