STEP 1

How to make zucchini in sour cream and garlic? Prepare the ingredients. It is better to take young zucchini for this dish; they are more tender, juicier and tastier, and they also contain more vitamins. In addition, they do not need to be peeled or cored with seeds, which simplifies the cooking process. But more mature vegetables will also work; they will need to be washed, peeled and seeds removed.
STEP 2

Cut the zucchini into circles no more than one centimeter thick. If you make the pieces thicker, you will have to cook the dish longer, and it is possible that the zucchini will be hard. The best cooking option is baking the zucchini; it turns out healthier, but frying is easier, faster and tastier.
STEP 3

Peel the garlic and finely chop it or pass it through a press. Garlic will add spice and a pleasant flavor to the zucchini.
STEP 4

To make the zucchini tastier and juicier, you can cook it with batter. To do this, crack a chicken egg into a bowl, beat it with a fork or whisk with a pinch of salt until smooth, not necessarily until foam forms. Dip the zucchini pieces into the beaten egg.
STEP 5

Pour some wheat flour into a plate. Then roll them on both sides in flour.
STEP 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place zucchini slices on it. Salt and pepper to taste. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
STEP 7

In a separate bowl, mix sour cream with chopped garlic cloves. Pour in sour cream sauce. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the zucchini under the lid over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes. Remove the cover. Let the sauce thicken a little.
STEP 8

Place the zucchini on a plate. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve with fresh bread. Bon appetit!
