STEP 1

How to make Zebra pie with sour cream in the oven? Prepare your food. It is better to remove the eggs and sour cream from the refrigerator in advance to keep them warm. This is important for this type of test.
STEP 2

Break the eggs into a bowl. Add sugar. Using a mixer, beat them well until fluffy and light.
STEP 3

Add sour cream.
STEP 4

Beat the mixture again, but at low mixer speeds.
STEP 5

Sift the flour into the egg mixture, after adding baking powder and salt.
STEP 6

Mix everything again with a mixer until you obtain a liquid, homogeneous dough. Divide the dough into two approximately equal parts. Let one be a little smaller than the second, we will add cocoa powder to it.
STEP 7

Add cocoa to one of the parts, sifting it through a sieve. Using a spatula, stir this portion of the dough until completely smooth.
STEP 8

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil; line the bottom with baking paper. I used a mold with a diameter of 20 cm. Using a tablespoon, spoon the dough into the center, alternating between light and dark. Make sure the batter flows evenly without dripping or mixing with other colors.
STEP 9

Lay out all the dough this way. Those portions that were at the very beginning will spread to the edges of the form. This is exactly how you will get a beautiful pattern on the cut - in the form of multi-colored stripes.
STEP 10

Using a toothpick, you can make a beautiful design on top of the cake. To do this, draw lines first from the center to the edges, as if dividing the pie into 8 parts. And then vice versa, from the edges to the center, dividing the resulting parts in half.
STEP 11

Bake the pie in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick - it should be dry when removed from the center of the pie. Cool the pie, remove from the mold and serve.
