  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to prepare the yogurt dressing. Yogurt of any fat content is suitable, as long as it does not contain any food additives.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Place natal yoghurt in a bowl, add ground black pepper, pressed garlic and Italian herbs. If desired, you can experiment with spices by adding your favorite seasonings to the sauce.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Next add a pinch of lemon zest and a little lemon juice.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Also pour soy sauce into the bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix all ingredients until the sauce is homogeneous. We taste the dressing and, based on our preferences, add additions to the sauce if necessary.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Serve the prepared yogurt sauce with the vegetable salad. Pour the remaining sauce into a jar and put it in the refrigerator. Since the dressing contains acid, which can cause the yogurt to separate, such a sauce is not prepared for future use. This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, so it is better to prepare the sauce in small portions.

You can make Tzatziki sauce with yogurt. An excellent substitute for mayonnaise.

It turns out it's so easy to make yogurt salad dressing! All you need to do is mix all the ingredients, you don’t need to cook or beat anything) I have homemade thick yogurt, I just made it fresh and used it as a base. I took half a teaspoon of lemon zest, I think that’s enough. I was surprised by the presence of soy sauce in the composition, it turned out that this is just a wonderful combination! The dressing turned out to be so delicious, spicy, refreshing and at the same time tender and light. I seasoned it with a vegetable salad with radishes and cucumbers. It turned out great, especially since the dressing was not thick and easily mixed with vegetables.
