Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 1 hr 30 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt, sugar, vegetable oil. Add flour (a little more than for pancakes), knead into a homogeneous dough.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cover with a towel and leave for 1 hour in a warm place. I usually turn on two burners and place the dough next to each other, closing the door so that there are no drafts.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the potatoes, boil in salted water until tender, and puree. Wash the liver and boil in salted water until tender.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil. Pass the boiled liver through a meat grinder.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add liver mass, fried onions and salt to mashed potatoes. Mix everything thoroughly.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the risen dough on a floured table, knead, tear off small balls, and roll out with a rolling pin. Place the filling on each flatbread and make patties. Place seam down. Fry in well-heated vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.

Great, I’ve never tried this combination, my mother-in-law makes delicious pies with potatoes, but also with liver... I’ll have to advise her, thanks for the delicious idea))!
