Yeast pies are like fluff

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Ingredients for the dough.
STEP 2

Let's start preparing the dough by activating the yeast. Pour yeast into 1/3 tbsp. water at room temperature, add 1 tsp. sugar and mix. Leave the mixture for 10-15 minutes. During this time, a “cap” should form on the surface.
STEP 3

Combine kefir with vegetable oil and mix. Lightly heat the mixture over low heat (up to about 38 degrees) while constantly stirring. Be careful not to overheat the mixture, otherwise the kefir may curdle.
STEP 4

Remove the warm kefir-oil mixture from the heat, add salt, sugar, and mix.
STEP 5

Add activated yeast and stir.
STEP 6

Add sifted flour. A little more flour may be needed. Depends on its quality.
STEP 7

Knead soft, elastic dough. It turns out tender, practically does not stick to your hands. Cover the dough with a napkin and leave it in a warm place to rise for about 40-45 minutes.
STEP 8

Meanwhile, prepare the filling.
STEP 9

Peel the apples from seeds and skin, cut into small cubes. Mix with washed and steamed raisins, cinnamon and sugar. The filling is ready.
STEP 10

The dough has risen well.
STEP 11

Gently knead the risen dough and place it on a table dusted with flour. Divide into pieces of the desired size.
STEP 12

Roll each piece into a round cake and place the filling in the middle. Carefully pinch the edges of the dough and give the pie the desired shape.
STEP 13

Place the pies on a greased baking sheet and cover the top with beaten egg. Let the pies rest for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 14

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees. until golden brown. Let the baked goods cool slightly and serve. Bon appetit!
