Wheat pumpkin bread

Pumpkin bread with a crispy crust and aromatic crumb. I baked this bread using the straight method, which reduces the cooking time. Pumpkin bread turns out to be a beautiful soft yellow color, fragrant and surprisingly tasty! It will be a satisfying addition to any dish.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

    Ingredients.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the pumpkin into pieces and place in a blender. Add half the water and grind as finely as possible.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a deep bowl, mix sifted flour, yeast, salt, sugar.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Stir the chopped pumpkin into the flour mixture, add the rest of the water and mix. Add soft butter and knead everything until smooth. I ended up with a dough that was a little sticky to my hands.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the dough in a greased container (you can also grease your hands to prevent the dough from sticking). Cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

During this time the dough will rise well.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

We knead it, form a loaf and place it on a greased sheet (or a suitable form). Cover with a towel and leave warm for another 40-50 minutes. When the bread is ready, you can make several cuts on top with a sharp knife.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

We bake bread with steam; to do this, place a bowl of water on the bottom of the oven and heat it to 200 degrees. Bake pumpkin bread for 40-50 minutes. Remove the finished bread from the oven and “wash” it with water. Wrap in a towel and let cool completely. It is advisable to let it stand for 12-24 hours.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

You can try homemade pumpkin bread. Bon appetit!

Thank you for participating in the “Best Recipe of the Week” competition. Excellent and healthy bread. Try using contrasts when photographing. Light on dark, dark on light. See how beautiful your bread looks on a black baking sheet (step 8) and how it gets lost against the background of a bright green napkin. Bright flowers on a napkin attract all attention. Compared to these bright colors, the bread looks very dull. In this case, it is better to use a gray or dark brown background (remnants of a laminate board, a piece of fabric or a napkin), or pure white with the same white unobtrusive pattern. If you really want to add a bright element to the frame, then it is better to place it in the background and blur it so that it does not compete with the main dish in color and space.
