    Place the cooking ring on a flat dish. If you don't have a baking ring, use a springform cake pan (18cm diameter). Place the first layer and press down the potatoes with a spoon. Coat it with mayonnaise (about 1.5 tablespoons).

For lunch I made a vegetable salad, beets, potatoes, carrots. Only I decided not to add an apple to it and took not a pickled cucumber, but a homemade pickled one. I laid the layers on a dish without a ring and coated them with mayonnaise. The top of the salad was completely covered with finely grated beets. I greased it a little with mayonnaise and sprinkled it with dill. The salad was not allowed to sit for long to soak. It turned out very tasty and did not stagnate on the table. The recipe is excellent, I recommend it!
