Please tell me how kiwi tastes in a salad. Will children eat this salad (who love kiwis) or is it only for gourmets?

I made the salad in advance before New Year's Eve - it was tasty and tender, but the kiwi slices didn't cut well, so I then pureed it in a blender and just put the puree on top
