STEP 1
How to make pea soup with smoked ribs? Soak the peas in cold water for 1-2 hours in advance. Then change the water and simmer on low heat for 2 hours or until the peas are tender. Collect foam. No need to add salt. When legumes are salted during cooking, the peas, beans, etc. retain their shape well and remain dense. It's good for salads and some main dishes.

Place all the ingredients for the broth in a saucepan (the vegetables need to be washed, peeled, cut - you don’t have to cut them, or just in large pieces) and put it on the fire. As soon as it boils, collect the foam, turn the heat to low and cook for 1-2 hours.
