I made sweet crispy cucumbers for the winter for the first time. I like sweetish pickled cucumbers, they are very appetizing, and in salads they are simply irreplaceable. I didn’t have many cucumbers, only enough for two liter jars. I first filled them with cold water and left them for two hours so that when ready they would become juicy and crispy. From the spices I took dill, currant leaves and cherries. I didn't have horseradish on hand. I made the brine by taking 2 tablespoons of salt and 3.5 tbsp. spoons of sugar, this is for both jars. Instead of vinegar, I added half a teaspoon of vinegar essence to each jar. I’ve made pickled cucumbers before, but I used less sugar. I added essence to the jars instead of vinegar. So, I think that even with my deviations from the recipe, it should turn out great! Thank you very much for the recipe
