STEP 1

How to make stewed potatoes with meat in a frying pan? Prepare all ingredients. You can substitute beef, chicken or turkey for the pork, but be aware that the cooking time will vary. I used lump pork schnitzel). Add carrots to the meat, stir and fry everything together, stirring, for 2-3 minutes.

Add tomato paste to the pan, stir and heat everything together for 1-2 minutes.

Place the potatoes in the pan and stir. Salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 9

Pour hot water or broth into the pan until the liquid almost completely covers the meat and vegetables. Add bay leaves.
STEP 10

Simmer the potatoes and meat over medium heat, covered, for about 45 minutes until the vegetables are cooked. The water may boil away almost completely; after the specified time, I had some sauce left.
STEP 11

The stew with vegetables is ready. Serve the dish hot. Ready-made potatoes with meat can be sprinkled with chopped herbs - parsley, dill or cilantro, if you want to give the dish an oriental flavor. Bon appetit!
