STEP 1

How to make stewed potatoes with chicken in a frying pan? Prepare your food. For this dish you can use any part of the chicken, I used thighs. Cut the chicken into small pieces and rinse under running water. Then pat the pieces dry with paper towels to remove excess water.
STEP 2

Heat the frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Place chicken pieces in hot oil and fry them over high heat until golden brown.
STEP 3

While the chicken is frying, peel the vegetables - onions and carrots. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and cut the onion into cubes.
STEP 4

Place the chopped vegetables in the frying pan with the meat. Mix everything and fry for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 5

Peel the potatoes and rinse them to remove dirt. Cut it into large pieces and add to the pan. Add a little water and mix everything well. Add salt and spices to taste. Bring everything to a boil and cover with a lid. Simmer the dish over low heat for 20 minutes. Keep an eye on the water level; if it boils quickly, the dish may burn. Add water as needed.
STEP 6

During this time, the chicken will be completely cooked, and the potatoes will become soft and saturated with the aromas of chicken meat. Serve the dish hot. When serving, you can sprinkle with chopped herbs. Bon appetit!
