  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pickle cookies? Prepare the required ingredients. It doesn’t matter what kind of brine you use: from purchased cucumbers or from those that you spun yourself for the winter. The cookies will taste almost the same (unless the brine has a strong garlic smell).

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a separate bowl, mix cucumber pickle, sugar and sunflower oil.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add flour mixed with soda and knead into a soft, non-sticky dough. It may take a little more or a little less flour. Let the dough rest for a while under the film. You can use baking powder instead of baking soda.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Roll out the dough on the work surface of the table into a layer 0.6-0.7 mm thick and cut out shaped cookies from it. If you don't have special molds, you can use a regular glass and make round cookies.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Bake in an oven heated to 180-170 degrees for 15-20 minutes - until the cookies turn pink. If you like it drier, hold it longer. The temperature and baking time depend only on your oven, use it as a guide. When the cookies are browned, take them out and cool.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

You can sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar. Its taste is no different from regular cookies (except that it turns out tastier). Brine, as I understand it, is used here for friability, and it does its job! Bon appetit!
